Our 60 Second Review of…
Rising Sun Gold
Tom's Review: I'm a big fan of Rising Sun, but Talonsoft
and Take Two is trying to change that with this underweight "gold"
edition. It consists of the first game, the Imperial Strike missions
(goofy hypothetical scenarios in which the Japanese invade the Seattle
area), and no manual. That's right, a complex wargame with no manual!
You could print out the 196 pages from an Adobe Acrobat file, but
you'd do better to just buy the original Rising Sun. Which comes
with a manual. Like a wargame should. Dammit. Call this lousy half-baked
excuse for an expansion "Rising Sun Dross".
