Red Faction: Guerrilla breaks free of GFWL

Red Faction: Guerrilla, one of Volition’s best games, and certainly the open-world game with the best use of physics, is now completely free of Games for Windows Live on PC. That’s right. All the Martian destruction, all the building toppling, all the subversive terrorism meta-gameplay is now fully integrated with Steam. New publisher Nordic Games has even added six previously unreleased Wrecking Crew maps, a DirectX 11 renderer, and Steam leaderboards for the multiplayer modes. If you haven’t clobbered someone on Mars with your construction hammer, now is the time to check that off your bucket list.
