"I did some net poking no, not that kind, and wash your imagination out with a bar of soap! and read about something interesting going on with the Master Tools product that Wizards of the Coast is creating for Dungeons and Dragons. You may have read previously that the mapping part of this is being adapted from the map editor that Arcanum will ship with. Now I read on Wizard's website that they're adding sounds as well."

So who's waiting for the Master Tools to create that massive D&D campaign you've always wanted to run? Or who's just waiting for Neverwinter Nights? :)

I am waiting for Neverwinter Nights. I think that game is going to be everything I could want in a RPG: Single player mode, Multiplayer mode, plus run your own dungeon. It will be interesting to see if it lives up to its own hype.

Yep, Neverwinter Nights has a lot to live up to. Vampire came with a "storytelling" DM mode, but it really hasn't caught on from what I can tell. You have to use QERadiant to make new levels, and that seems to be beyond most people.
