Since there are so many Rushmore lovers around here, I thought you would like this bit from pagesix.com:
BAD MARRIAGE
by RICHARD JOHNSON
with Paula Froelich and Chris Wilson
BILL Murray was thrilled when his "Rushmore" director, Wes Anderson, offered him a role as Gwyneth Paltrow's husband in "The Royal Tenenbaums," which premiered to standing ovations this weekend at the N.Y. Film Festival. "I figured, hey, I haven't been with a hot blonde in a while," he joked following the screening, reports Post film critic Lou Lumenick. "But then I read the script and discovered she locks me out of the bathroom where she's lounging naked in the tub. And she sleeps with practically everybody else in the cast but me." The cast includes Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Ben Stiller, Danny Glover, and Luke and Owen Wilson.

I've found that the key to a successful and happy life is to keep your expectations nice and low, so they're always exceeeded. At least when it comes to movies; I can count on one hand the number of movies I expected to be outstanding that lived up to my inflated expectations. This thread isn't helping!

He also apparently has her first name.
Tenenbaum, in German, means Christmas Tree (I'm pretty sure).
I know this because the Nat King Cole version of the tune "Oh Tennebaum" is sung first in German and then in English as:
"Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, How lovely are your branches."
-Andrew (how lovely are his branches)

Thanks for pointing out that CNN connection. I never saw that before. What a coincidence!

I know, I know, i need to work on my proofreading skills. But if I do, then it would take me twice as long to post a simple message! Plus, I am just too rebellious and adventurous to just play by the rules... ya know?!?
