Has anyone seen "The Road Home?"

I haven't seen the movie, but my cousins in the Phillipines say its a better romance then CTHD... a real good movie... sadly i cant find this movie anywhere! maybe i should check facets...

You know Bruce, you are third person who has mentioned that film to me this week but, sadly, it isn't playing anywhere in Milwaukee (yet).
(It's still a theatrical release isn't it?)

reading the tidbit about this movie sounds alot like love in the time of cholera by GGM... hmm i want to see what its all about... its got a US release may 25 in LA and NY.

Hey did you live on Fullerton/Lincoln Park? or close to there? I used to go to school around there! DePaul...and lived in Rodgers Park! Yeah Facets was cool when they did that Kieslowski retrospective when he died...was cool watching Decalogue.
Yeah I read that the movie will be in limited release, sorta like Memento but probably even smaller. I just want to see that Jen girl from CTHD shes pretty dang beautiful.
A good movie that sorta sound slike The Road Home is To Live...its set in China as well, from beginning of the Peoples Republic to around the seventies. Nice cinematagrophy... The romance is lo key as well, its really about the peoples revolution and dealing with it... i liked it more than The Last Emperor...or those Farewell Concubine type movies...and it stars that hotty Gong Li!
