Click here for a little story I found about actors not getting along. It's quick, but worth reading.

ACK!!

"WILMINGTON, N.C. (Reuters) - An actor and screenwriter in town for the filming of a new movie, ``Domestic Disturbance,'' were arrested along with two Wilmington men for a fight in a downtown bar early on Thursday that left another of the film's stars, actor Steve Buscemi, with stab wounds to the throat and head."

Wilmington is like a mini-hollywood here in NC. And doesn't "stab woulds to the THROAT and HEAD" sound kinda.. er.. serious? Especially for an actor???

"Stab wounds" implies some kind of stabbing device, and I'll assume untrimmed fingernails don't qualify. "Throat and head" seem to me to be targets where the stabber would be most likely to roll a critical hit on the stabbee, so yes, they do seem serious.

Speaking from personal experience, I think stab wounds to the throat and head are considered serious even for writers.

The wounds sound serious (BTW the actor is Steve Buscemi) but evidently he was released shortly after going to the hospital so they couldn't have been that bad.

Yeah, I thought that it sounded fairly serious too, but they released him pretty quickly, so maybe not.

I thought that it was probably worth bringing up here.

Well, it could only have improved his looks

Mark,

This is obviously due to your experience with D&D. However, if you had played "Rolemaster" you'd have said "Rolled an E Pierce critical on the knife/claw table - Foe stunned 2 rounds and bleeding for 3 hits per round until bandaged, drops weapon."

Buscemi's apparently consulting plastic surgeons, according to articles on entertainment sites. Yes, he ain't handsome, but he's in demand as a character actor because of that distinctively unattractive face of his. Plastic surgery might actually hurt him (think of Jennifer Grey and her nose job), and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up suing the culprits if that happened.

Was Buscemi the stapler (or "stapeler" as he said it) guy in Office Space?

Here's a photo, Buscemi's the guy on the left. :)

Nah, Buscemi is and always will be "Mr Pink"

Roger that, thanks. I was having trouble placing him, but now I hear that annoying voice of his in my head. Someone mentioned above that he was looking into plastic surgeons, but not about how badly he was hurt. Neck and head makes 'em dead, as we used to say in karate...

Yeah, but without all those pesky unions to protect the actors.

Say, hey, isn't North Carolina where "The Crow" was filmed?
