I believe the threads on QT3 can range broadly on and off subject, but a current thread at Blue's News caught my attention. This thread:

was originally about the closing of Ion Storm Dallas. Somehow it morphed into a debate on religion, Catholicism and interpreting the Bible.
Daikatana and Biblical interpretation, who knew they were so closely linked.

John Paul II index of 2 also. Met Bill Clinton while he was Governor of Arkansas (photo at a minimum, TV I think). President Clinton met the Pope in St. Louis I believe (lots of TV).

The pope's not terribly hard to get a high number on. Been to a U2 concert? Bono met him na couple years ago. Are you catholic? The cardinals have all met him, etc., etc.

The Pope actually plays Doom in his spare time on maps of cathedrals. I don't know what Congress would say about that. Better commission a $1 million study on the impacts upon Popes of playing Doom. :)
