Hey Tom, where are you? Anyway, did you see any of MMIX when doing that interview thing with that NWC guy? This game is so low in hype, it might be invisible! I hope it rawks... I like the MM games... So and so said overland travel is like Sea Dogs... I thikn thats pretty cool... it might have random wilderness areas... which i think would be great to minimize the work for chiseled specific designed areas... sorta like Summoner, anyway, give me the dirt on this game! will it be a worthy succesor to the MM games?

WHERE ARE YOU?!?

Hey mtkafka,

To quote Buckwheat, 'Here I is'.

NWC didn't have any of MMIX to show. I just saw some concept art and sat down with the design team for about an hour or so. It's a long way out and I got the impression it's still in its malleable early stages.

ah, so it sounds like at earliest a 2002 release. Did you get the impression that it would be released by this year? anyway, it kind of peeves me that they'd waste some time (and money) on games like LoMM (why would i want a fantasy CS?).

btw, who is buckwheat?

JOKING!

anyway, glad to see you posting again.. thought Wumpus scared you off. harhar. and i take it you'll be sending me your beta version of mmix when you get it?!?

etc

I don't recall exactly when MM9 is scheduled, but
I don't think there's a chance in hell it will be a 2001 release.

"thought Wumpus scared you off."

Pshaw. Brooking fools is one of my favorite pastimes...

I think Brooking Fools is an analyst at MSNBC.
