I know this is only partially related to the original thread, but have you noticed that "They set up us the bomb" is often misquoted as "They set us up the bomb"? Is this done on purpose because it's funnier the second way? Or is it accidental because it's awkward to say it the first way? Just something for you to ponder.

it's a great way to at least determine whether or not the person actually knows anything 'base' or not. :) people who've been indoctrinated in 'base' will quietly laugh at the n00bs that don't know any better.

I'm happy to report that "AreBelongToUs" is currently 11th place coming into the final four in the pool I'm in. Root for Maryland to beat Zig, er, Arizona in the finals and "AreBelongToUs" will take the top prize! That's 11th out of 179 entries, with "AllYourBase" in a decent but unwinnable 36th place (too many Duke picks).
