I'm sure most of you know that eToys.com is going bankrupt, and won't be around much longer. They've got some pretty good PC games cheap right about now, so if you're looking for something new, you might check 'em out. I saw Warcraft II BNE for 3.99, and Half-Life: Opposing Force for 11.99. Saw some other good buys, too, so it might be worth checking out.

Man, eToys was a nice operation. When businesses like this can't make it, it shows how tough Internet commerce is.

I agree, Mark. I sure thought they'd be around for awhile.
One of the ladies I work with says she and one of her friends have both gotten stuff recently. They still have things in stock, so I suppose that they'll probably ship orders until they can no longer operate. How long that will be is anybody's guess. But if you can get a game that you've been looking for lately for ten bucks or less, it might be worth the risk. They've got Scars of Verilous for 19.99, I think it was. Isn't that still 35-40 most places? It's at least worth looking at, I think.

Well, maybe Scars of Verilous isn't such a good buy -- sorry. It's 15.99 at Amazon...It might have been 11 at eToys, but still not a great buy, especially since you get more security from Amazon right now...
