For some unknown reason, after 3am last night I decided to ramble on about the death of gaming PCs. I posted it on my web page. I doubt any of it makes sense. :)

Top 10 uses for the 29 subscription cards that fall out of every computer gaming magazine:

10) Paper airplanes
9) Run card over face after shaving to test how closely you shaved
8) Cut patterns out for snowflakes
7) Write checks with your mouth that your a** can't cash
6) Write CANCEL on all the cards and mail them back to the gaming magazine, even though you don't subscribe to it
5) Write the editor's name and newsroom address on all of the cards and mail them back ("It will **** with their minds!" as CGW would say)
4) Tape over your screen to blot out obnoxious banner ads on free ISPs
3) Draw the outline of a Palm Vx on one and make little beeping and booping noises as you try to "tap" it's buttons and screen. Good for scaring away co-workers.
2) Write "Daikatana, "Sucks", and "any more questions?" on three cards and mail them to John Romero
1) Scribble the names and faces of computer game magazine editors on them and use them for Poker. This may require shaking a couple more magazines until you've got the 52 cards needed.

That is some funny stuff, as was your previous list. The mental image of a guy playing with his "Palm Vx" was priceless. Beep. Boop.

geo can you email me at [email protected] ?

Thanks guys, I need some outlet for my humor (or attempts, or schtick :)) as writing dry business copy and features can get a little suffocating. I mean, I'm going to go interview someone about their exciting flower preservation business today. Oh God help me! :)

I'll contact ya, Wumpus, when I'm at home, just checking briefly from work.

I'm sure there's a Top 10 list waiting to done called "Top 10 signs Your Gaming News Site is Doomed." However, I'm not sure I'm knowledgeable enough to do it. :)

But the #1 answer would be:

"The name of your site is NOT Quarter to Three."

(Reason #1, I can't bear to think about that! I'd have to - perish the thought - work!

Reason #2, We all know that Mark and Tom are behind the crash of all opposing websites, as part of their scheme to take over the world!)
