Has anyone else experienced the fun of the new zone? Now it requires a .net login. So I guess now when I want my fake information to buy a house, MSN will be able to quickly inform my prospective lenders that I play games on the zone? Not sure. Does anyone ever give these things real info?

I signed up for one. Now it will not let me reclaim my old user name. Anyone else having this problem?

Chet

Havn't used the Zone since I stopped playing Asheron's Call a year ago.

Doesn't surprise me they are doing this. Everything is .net with them now

After the rapture comes, we will all have a .net username tattooed on our hands...

Normal Zone population at 9pm Pacific: 120,000.

Zone population right now (9.16pm Pacific): 8,348.

Normal AC population at this time: 13,000.

AC population right now: 643.

"Screwing the pooch" doesn't even begin to describe this debacle.

And my Outlook just died, so I'm finally getting Eudora. Wish I could switch clients for AC.

The saddest part of this whole thing is I'm actually impressed with how it's performing. Usually they fuck up so badly all their sites go offline for hours and days. At least the Zone is still up. Can't play AC at all, but it's nice to know the CASINO ON NET ads still work just fine.
