I was really grooving on "Out There" from DailyRadar and was quite bummed to see a different writer take it over. Little did I know, Out There had just moved "over here" with a new name: Tom Chick's Shoot Club! It's got Trevor, LA bachelor angst, and now it comes with weekly LAN parties. Keep up the good work, but next time leave a forwarding address!

Hey Tim,

Glad to hear from you! You must be awfully busy these days with all those flight sims. :)

Daily Radar has implied that I'd be back to doing Out There in January, but I'm not holding my breath. They are sending me to Sundance, but otherwise, I have no idea what's going on over there. Except that they gave Unbreakable a Direct Hit.

Pffft. Tell me about it. Know anybody who wants some really expensive joysticks?http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1202995247

I'm the first to admit that it's no Reindeer Games, but I thought it had some good qualities, like its comic book theme and Samual Jackson. You didn't like?

Ugh, I hated Unbreakable. Textbook example of what happens when a director lucks into a multi million dollar hit (Sixth Sense) and gets carte blanche to do his next movie with no one to tell him when something doesn't work. Unreakable is an interesting premise smothered in artless execution. YMMV, of course. :)

And, dammit, why didn't more people like Reindeer Games?

Let's get one thing clear: I actually liked Reindeer Games.

I'm just surprised that you liked it, too, but only because I enjoyed it so much--frankly Tom, I've come to expect more from you.

;)

I loved Reindeer Games... just about everyone I've told to watch it has also. I think it's one of those movies that people don't want to watch because the title confuses them. I thought it was a fine film.

Wasn't Gary Sinise just the biggest asshole? Man he had me scared shitless the first time he appears. A great actor that slips in and out of roles while no one notices. *sigh* He's like a high profile Bruce Campbell.

I liked him as a good guy in the TV adaption of King's The Stand. That was really an amazingly good adaption of that book.
